Right! So I looked over the other two polls and thought I should add a third. There are so many types of music out there that it is hard to cover them all, so there will probably be more coming. grin

I am kind of throughing Folk Music a generic title here. There are several countries that have groups that could fall under the Folk option, but here in the States they could be labeled as something else. I also thought I'd give a nod to the Latin Culture that has swept through the US. Living in Ecuador, I found a little spot in my heart for the rhythms that they produce and live by. dancing

Have fun all.wave

I think you've covered them all quite well in your 3 threads, Tip! laugh Even some that the total music buffs hadn't heard of...and that ain't easy! laugh

For this one, it was steel drums/reggae for me! Love that sound...but love so many it's not easy to make one choice per thread, even!

hug Listening to a world reggae cd right now...with my favorite rock and some more world music mixed in behind it on the cd changer. My choices for today!

Sweet. I chose Reggeaton, which I have been into for a while now. But the other option I would have chosen was Folk. Really digging that scene @ the moment. Iron and Wine, Mudcrutch, etc . . . Can't get enough of them. guitar

I'm a "True Blue Country Dude-Ette"...LOL!!! Being from Oklahoma, having gone to school with and graduated the same year as Garth Brooks, how could I not be? Besides, have you seen Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, and Chris Cagle in those "tight wranglers"...wow! LOL!!!

Btw...a little info for those who might not know it...did you know that the digeridoo (that long Australian wind instrument that resonates very deeply) is the only instrument that can go down to 2db's and thereby, the only one capable of healing the body on a cellular level? Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone who might find it interesting.
